I go back in the mine to check the shaft that I bypassed one my first trip.

You go back to the non-flooded side shaft and see a miner buried under the rubble. After digging around you find that he had been smuggling bloodstones. You pocket the bag of 5 bloodstones that the unfortunate profiteer had gathered and return to town.

Now that that has been settled, I meet with the mayor to inform home where his son(in-law) rests.

The man can hardly speak. tears and snot run out of his face and you are slightly afraid of getting too close. with one arm around the still emotionless daughter, the mayor motions you back towards the main room of the inn.

the Mayor gets back to his office with his daughter and gives her a big hug. The hug lasts forever. You begin to feel akward as the hug doesn't
end and slowly edge your way out of the office.

With nowhere else to go you slide up to the bar. Mike looks at you with a new appreciation. "you did that? I'm twice your size and I ran away like a schoolgirl when those things game into town." He wipes a thick forearm across his nose.

"Well at least most of the family is reunited. Its a real shame about Roscoe, good lad, but I guess when you're number is up, its up."

A voice booms down from heaven. "YOUR, NOT YOU'RE!"

Mike hardly flinches. "Those darn grammar elementals... Can you go up and clear them out too? their really getting to be a nuisance of late."

"THEY'RE! GEEZ IT'S NOT LIKE WE'RE SUBTLE ABOUT THIS!!"

"Like I said, a bother..." Mike hangs his head and sighs. "Oh yeah, the mayor wanted you to have this if you came back." He reaches behind the counter and pulls out a bag of 300 gold.
